[ the thing is, it’s easy to forget that celine is dangerous. she’s cool and smart and, as penny has noted before, super gorgeous, that it’s easy to just treat her like another billionaire ceo or superhero back on earth. but being around the likes of pepper potts or thor never caused penny’s spider-sense to spike like this. iron man has killed people, but penny’s pretty sure that he didn’t like, enjoy it or anything.
but some of the paintings she’s seen, the songs she’s heard, the holovids she’s watched - the empire talks about how celine ‘liberated’ the planet from her tyrant sister, but penny’s got a feeling there’s some serious PR spin in there. it’s maybe why she’s been a little guarded, why she’s dug her heels in and gotten so obstinate about the idea of sleeping with celine.
